More than a classroom
A school born from a community’s care.
Every child deserves the chance to learn close to home—and to imagine what comes next.
In 2014, after children faced a dangerous road crossing to reach school, Hephzibah and the Ikota community came together around a different possibility: a school of their own. The community donated land. From a shared community centre, Liberty School grew into a dedicated home for learning.
